Hello, my name is Alexander Shaw. I live in Lincolnshire, England with my wife Sharon and our child Willow. 

After hosting the School of Movies podcast for many years, going deep into what makes stories compelling and memorable, I started applying what I'd found to my writing. The result is The New Century Multiverse.

As the first book was being written, I gathered multiple voice actors to adapt the audio. We have been working together for more than eight years now. New Century is now released episodically each week, as an evocative, cinematic podcast, with the books available on the Kindle Store and in paperback form, and the completed audiobooks on Bandcamp.

The voice cast include Laureta Sela, Maureen Foley, Theo Leigh, Sharon Shaw, Spencer Leeb, Maya Santandrea, Matt Wardle and myself, along with various guest voices. It has become quite an extraordinary experience to work so closely with these amazing, talented people over the years, as well as our artists, Antonio Torresan, Jim McGregor, Dios Revoredo and Vicky Kuhn. Through their voices and paintings these characters are brought to vivid life, going far beyond the words I write.

My long-term plan is to keep this rhythm of podcasts, books and audiobooks, grow our audience and expand into other media, as more people share and explore the many worlds of New Century.
